Entrance to the Event is at the East Entrance which has accessible access, lowered counters and induction loops.

Under certain circumstances tickets can be re-sold via Basingstoke Comic Con. Email tickets@comicconconnections.com if you are unable to attend the Event.
Any tickets found to be sold via third parties will be cancelled. Basingstoke Comic Con will not be required to honour Tickets/pass if we know or have reasonable grounds for believing that they have been purchased from unauthorised agents or other unauthorised sources including, without limitation, ticket touts, or duplicated.
We have 10 passenger lifts on site available for public use which go to all levels within their respective buildings.
Yes, although Newbury Racecourse is a cashless site with all food and drink only available to purchase via card/contactless payment.
Newbury Racecourse is easily accessible from the North, East and West via the M4, A4 and Hambridge Road – those attending from these directions should use the postcode RG14 7PN and follow the yellow and brown signage to the appropriate car parks.
Those driving to Newbury Racecourse from the South via A34, A339 and Racecourse Road should use the postcode RG14 7NZ.

Accessible parking is available at the front of Car Park 4.
Yes, Newbury Racecourse has its own station (a 1–2-minute walk from the entrance) and regular services run from a number of major stations and areas across the region.
Newbury’s main station is just a 10–15-minute walk from the Racecourse and benefits from additional services departing and stopping.
There is a drop-off and pick-up point from adjacent to the Entrance so please head here if you’re being dropped off or collected.

Parking in Car Park 4 is on level tarmac with drop kerbs to the entry gates. Where parking may not be available in Car Park 4 we will endeavour to find the most suitable parking space, as close to the gates as possible.

Yes, a regular bus services stops and departs from the Racecourse, with a bus stop located close to the Entrance. Bus numbers 8, 9, 9b, 9c stop at the Racecourse.

We offer accessible tickets which entitle you to a complimentary ticket for a personal assistant.
The East Entrance is the main entrance to the event, has accessible access, lowered
counters and induction loops. This facility can be used by switching a hearing aid to the ‘T’
switch. If a hearing-impaired person is unable to use the facility, we would gladly service a
person in an alternative area where there is limited background noise.
Yes, accessible toilets are available in all of the Racecourse’s buildings and stands which can be accessed via a radar key. These radar keys can be collected from the reception in Berkshire Stand or from any bar or restaurant while our accessible racegoers are welcome to use their own key.
All toilets are demarcated via signage. Should you need any assistance locating the
toilets, please speak to the nearest member of staff.
Blue Badge holders are given parking in the Car Park 4, free of charge.
These parking areas are subject to capacity on the day and will need to be booked in advance basis and can provide closer proximity to entrances. When approaching the site, please follow the roadside wayfinding signage to direct you to the appropriate car park.

Unfortunately, Newbury Racecourse station does not have a lift, only a pedestrian bridge.
If you are travelling eastbound you’ll need to leave the platform at the Racecourse’s station and turn left on Hambridge Road and then pass over the small railway bridge.
If you are travelling westbound you will need to take a service which stops at the main Newbury station and from there either embark an eastbound train or take a taxi.
Improved accessibility access can be found at the main Newbury station, from which taxis are available to make the short journey to the Racecourse.
